The instagram page we created is our main source of promotion, we used this as our main source of all inquires. Instagram allowed us to share the page on our personal pages allowing us to connect our contacts to the event, in order to gain interest. Many techniques on the instagram page were promotion aimed such as:
Act Countdowns

We decided it'll be best to announce the acts gradually in order to build up the excitement, The last act to be announced was the headliner in order to round up the full line up of the first Phoney Events show.
We also used Facebook to reach a wider audience, totalling a reach of over 2k and engagement of 97 users.

- Ticket Giveaway Competition
We worked closely with our headline act, [SKETCH], on a ticket giveaway competition in celebration of their newest single 'Felicity'. The initial post by the band received multiple reposts by follower, spreading word of our event an lead to friends of the competition winners attending also. Whilst [SKETCH] are yet to release the single, this method of promotion helped us reach a wider audience. We have also been in talks with [SKETCH], who have proposed hosting a single release night separately with us.
